GAME WEEK! I cannot believe our week 1 match up is already here and camp is over and done with. The offseason (and camp) has flown by which I love – right when the season ended last year, I couldn’t wait to get back on the field with my teammates.
The state of MN seems excited for fall to begin again and that showed with a ton of fans at camp again (though this time at TCO). I’ll be honest, I missed Mankato (with it being my unofficial training camp home since 2008), but it was great to be in our new facility and I hope the fans had a great time with camp here in the cities as well. We are lucky to have some of the best fans in the NFL and camp is always a time for me to reset, remember how fun it was to see camp in college / when I was younger, and get even more excited for the Vikings season.
This year, as always, I have high expectations for our team and myself. With a new offensive coordinator and some other new additions, the preseason has flown by with the adjustments we have made. We have all had to get up to speed together which has created for some extra work, but work I know will pay off in the regular season as we have made a ton of progress together as a team since March. The countdown is only down to 5 days and I can’t wait to get out there at US Bank Stadium for our week 1 matchup.
